Aoki

Aoki got lost not long after his birth, so he grew up without knowing his origins very well, all he could remember was his first name, but he doesn't know how. Young Aoki would struggle to survive, all alone, if he wasn't found by a Monk and a Fairy. The Monk took him to his village, trained him and treated him like his own son. His early life was marked by struggle and hardship, but that only made him more resilient and determined. One day the Monk had a battle with a powerful evil entity, and died during that same fight, leaving Aoki ( who was now 15) and the fairy to continue their journey alone. The fairy, feeling like it was her own fault for being too weak and unable to protect her best friend, stayed with Aoki and continued to provide guidance and support, as much as she could... But she was unable to replace the influence and mentorship of the Monk, so they were suddenly forced to face the real world on their own.
  One day, they ran into a suspicious Mercenary who offered his help when he noticed that they seemed lost. The man offered to train Aoki to be a bounty hunter, and because he was too young and the fairy was too naive they accepted it. He became very good at it, but the man took all the credit, and all they got in return was a bed and some food. They started to notice something wasn't right, not only was the man keeping everything only for him, he was also hiding the truth about something, most of the bounties they were getting weren't exactly ethical. They kept it up for a while, thinking they had no other way to survive, but each day they started understanding more and more that their actions were wrong, and they should honor their master, and do good instead. This isn't what the Monk would have wanted, and the fairy always knew that deep down, but she was too lost on her own thoughts to do anything right. They couldnt forgive what they had done, or what the Mercenary had done. So they confronted him. It didn't go very well, and after an incident, the fairy felt like she had no choice but to murder him, at night while he slept. Luckly he wasn't very alert and slept like a rock.

  Young Aoki and the fairy had to run away from that village, and from their past. They continued their journey together, learning to be better people and promising each other to never shed the blood of an innocent person again.
